THE MANIFESTO

I built Creative Reset because I needed one.

I have spent much of my career in creative spaces — fashion, content, brand, studios and teams built around making things.

And somewhere along the way, I started believing that creativity wasn’t enough.

So I did what sensible adults are apparently supposed to do.

I became more corporate. I moved deeper into business and leadership. I even went to business school — which gave me a great education, some wonderful experiences and, naturally, a very impressive loan.

On paper, I was progressing.

But creatively, something was getting quieter.

The strange thing was that I hadn’t stopped being creative. I was still surrounded by ideas, campaigns, shoots, clothes, images and incredibly talented people.

I had simply spent so long turning creativity into output, deadlines, performance and results that I had forgotten what it felt like when creativity belonged to me.

And once I began looking around, I realised I wasn’t particularly unusual.

Creative people are constantly asked to produce while navigating rejection, comparison, unstable careers, money, algorithms, difficult clients, impossible standards, inner critics and very real outer ones.

We learn how to make the work.

Very few of us are taught how to look after the person making it.

That question eventually took me towards coaching and psychology — and became the beginning of Creative Reset.

Not a place that promises to make you more productive.

Not another system for squeezing ten more ideas out of an exhausted brain.

A place to stop.

To understand what happened.

To question what isn’t working anymore.

To reconnect with what matters.

And then, when you’re ready, to create again.

That’s the reset.
